Do you offer free consultations?
Yes. In every truck injury or personal injury case we consider, we will speak or meet with you with no obligation. There is no charge for the initial consultation. We will work with you to determine if it makes sense for you to hire us. We will not take on a new case unless we believe, based on experience and judgment, that it is a good fit and we can be successful for you.
How much does it cost to hire you?
It does not cost you anything out of pocket. In injury cases, we work on a “contingency” basis which means we will only get paid if we recover money for you. The amount of the fee depends on the nature and complexity of the work. Trucking accident cases can be very complex and require the hiring of multiple experts, including industry experts, medical experts, vocational experts, and economists. Firms that lack an adequate reserve of money to finance these expenses usually will not be able to prosecute your claims as successfully. Wright Law PLC prides itself on being able to hire the best experts and go take insurance companies head on.
Do you handle attorney referrals and co-counsel agreements with other lawyers?
Yes. The majority of the trucking cases handled by Wright Law, PLC begin through referral co-counsel agreements with other lawyers. These arrangements help their clients obtain the maximum possible recoveries and ease the burden of case expenses and time consumption to the referring lawyer for this very particularized area of practice. Please contact us to learn more information and references.
Do you advance expenses on my case?
Yes. Wright Law, PLC advances case expenses for court costs, filing fees, depositions, expert witness fees and the required costs for successful prosecution of your case. We believe hiring the best experts will help you get the best results. Many other law firms will not advance case costs or expect you to pay them.
Are truck accidents different than car accidents?
Yes. That is why it is critical that you hire an experienced truck accident lawyer that understands these differences and who has a successful track record of recovering money against motor carriers and commercial trucking companies. If you hire a lawyer who does not routinely handle truck accident cases, you may regret that decision. Trucking regulations and industry standards and custom can be complex to those that lack experience with them.
